How can counseling help me?
I know the scary thought of never feeling better, of this being your new normal in life. I’ve been there. It’s hard to open up when you’re in a place of deep shame about your thoughts and feelings related to yourself, your life and your baby. When you start to open up to someone and start talking about your feelings they start to lose their power and control over you. The first step to healing is taking what you’re keeping hidden in the dark and bringing it out into the light.
I am passionate about showing up for women and helping them feel heard, safe and supported as you walk through this journey of healing.
Developing a relationship where you feel safe and supporting is part of our work together, but counseling also includes an active approach that goes beyond just talking about how you are feeling. If you’re willing to invest in yourself and your recovery I can help you learn skills and techniques to help you feel better so you can start to feel like yourself again and begin enjoying your life.
